As well as the comfortable rooms you will find here in Platanias at the "Hotel Apartments Des Roses", we have created some common use areas for your enjoyment and relaxation, making your stay in our hotel both pleasurable and interesting.
Garden

In front of the hotel, is our magnificent garden, perfect for moments of peace and tranquility.

Our mother Mrs Toula planted a wide range of flowers and plants, so we refer to our garden as a small Eden. Camellias tall as trees, rose trees, roses. Azaleas, orange, lemon, cherry, trees, willows and plain trees all flourish in our garden.

Our pride and joy is the large Magnolia, 13 meters in height, which completes the color composition and offers a beautiful picture.
In this garden, you can enjoy your drink or coffee, or even your breakfast, which we offer with traditional products, home made marmalades, fresh butter and eggs, local cheese and fresh fruit juices. Rosa, our family pet dog, also resides in the garden keeping an eye on our plants while we sleep. Rosa loves children.

Our Taverna “Zefiros”
In our Taverna you can enjoy tastes based on the Mediterranean diet, with carefully chosen quality foods, local wine and virgin olive oil, fresh organic vegetables, fresh fish and organic meat, from the local stock.
BBQ
In the garden area, we have installed a traditional BBQ, where our visitors can enjoy tasty food, cooked on the BBQ.

Children’s Swimming Pool
Recently we have installed a children’s play area which includes bouncy toys and a swimming pool (4.50×4.50×1.10), where our young friends can have fun and enjoy their toys in the water.

Arcades
For our young guests, we have created this fun area, with various games including arcade games and bar football game, so they can have fun and enjoy fun moments.

Blood Bank
For the first time this year ( 2005 ), we established a blood bank on behalf of our hotel, for the people who need contributions. Our guests can be members of this bank, by donating blood in the Hospital of Volos.
In return as a thank you, for this contribution we will give them a 5% discount on total bill of our guests.

Library
Our hotel’s Library has at least 300 books, in Greek and other languages, with information on the alternative holidays field. The topics are varying but is given an extra emphasis in the culture, history, tradition and the tourism of our area.
